As we step into the new year, we continue to celebrate the extraordinary legacy of our beloved Maestro, Dr. Peter Rubardt, who will retire at the conclusion of our 2025-2026 Season. For 13 remarkable years, Maestro Rubardt has led MSO with unparalleled passion, artistry, and a deep commitment to musical excellence. Under his baton, we have experienced breathtaking performances, unforgettable premieres, and moments of profound connection through music.

Maestro Rubardt has not only shaped the sound of our symphony but also enriched our community, inspiring generations of music lovers and musicians alike. To honor this milestone, we are dedicating the remainder of this season to celebrating Maestro Rubardt's legacy. From special performances to behind-the-scenes tributes, we invite you to join us in expressing our gratitude for his extraordinary leadership. Stay tuned for more details about these events in the coming months!

As we prepare to turn the page on this exciting new chapter, we need your support to ensure that the Maestro's vision and the Symphony's mission continue to thrive. This year-end, your generous contribution will help us:

  • Sustain the highest level of artistic programming,

  • Attract and support world-class talent, including our next Maestro, and

  • Expand our educational and outreach initiatives that bring music to thousands in our community.

Your gift today will not only celebrate a legacy - it will create a future. Whether you are a long-time supporter or new to our Symphony family, every donation brings us closer to achieving our shared vision of transformative music for all. â€‹Together, let us celebrate the Maestro's extraordinary journey and embrace the bright future ahead. Your contributions make Meridian Sound Amazing!

Celebrate 64 years

In honor of our historic 64th annual season, each $64 donation will support continued music education and outreach in local schools.

Support Our Mission

Your donation will support the Meridian Symphony Association’s mission: to promote the wellbeing of the residents in East MS by uniting our community through high-quality, live symphonic music.

For over six decades, the Meridian Symphony Association has enriched the culture of our city and the surrounding areas. Thanks to the ongoing, generous support of individuals, foundations, and businesses, we are able to meet the annual expenses of presenting brilliant artists, an exceptional variety of concerts, and innovative education and community outreach programs.

As the Queen City rises again to let her crown shine, may we honor these artistic roots, celebrate our thriving present and invest in the future of music in Meridian.
